- Introduction
- Conkling Heritage Park is a Village of Mackinaw City waterfront park on South Huron Street, just north of Straits Harbor. Developed with the Michigan DNR, it offers more than 500 feet of Lake Huron frontage, a performance shell for the summer concert series, an observation deck, picnic areas and paved accessible paths. The park is named for village founder Edgar Conkling and also hosts community events including Independence Day fireworks.
