Ikebana International Show

Ikebana International Show (Chicago Botanic Garden)

2026 edition: Saturday & Sunday, June 13-14, 2026, 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Burnstein Hall, Chicago Botanic Garden, 1000 Lake Cook Road, Glencoe, Illinois 60022.

Organiser: Presented by the Ikebana International Chicago Chapter, one of the groups in the Garden's American Flower Show Series.

What it is: A two-day display and programme of ikebana - the Japanese art of flower arranging - with many educational opportunities to learn about the mechanics and techniques of ikebana.

Admission: Free; preregistration is not required. Regular parking and Garden admission fees apply for nonmembers.

Series context: The Garden's flower shows run through the year in the Regenstein Center. The Ikebana International Show has been held each June in recent years (2025: June 14-15; 2026: June 13-14).

Next edition: No 2027 dates were published as of September 2026 and the Garden's June 2027 flower-show calendar is empty. The Garden reuses the same page URL for each edition; between editions the page returns HTTP 403 to the public because the Garden unpublishes flower-show pages once a show has passed (confirmed against other past flower shows on the same site, while upcoming shows still return 200).
