Kids Fair is Youth & Family Services' (YFS) annual family event, held at The Monument in Rapid City, South Dakota. The 2026 edition took place on Saturday, April 11 (8:30 a.m.–4 p.m.) and Sunday, April 12 (12 p.m.–4 p.m.), transforming the Barnett Fieldhouse, North and East Concourses, and Rushmore Hall into a giant playground for babies through pre-teens.
The event offers hands-on activities, family engagement, vendor booths, and sponsorship opportunities that support children and families across Rapid City and Western South Dakota. Daily admission is $5 per person, and volunteers are a key part of the event's success each year.
Next-edition dates are typically announced in early spring; the 2027 schedule had not been published at the time of this verification. The event is organized by Youth & Family Services, a local nonprofit providing child care, Head Start, counseling, and family support services.
