Maturierenden-Messe Basel 2026
The Maturierenden-Messe Basel takes place on Wednesday 4 November 2026, 10:00–16:00, at Congress Center Messe Basel, Hall 4.1.
The study and careers fair is aimed at gymnasium and Kantonsschule students, vocational and specialised Matura candidates, and pupils from commercial, economics and IT middle schools and international high schools — anyone asking what comes after the Matura.
Visitors can compare study programmes and universities from across Switzerland, use free study and career counselling, have a professional application photo taken, and attend workshops and talks on study choice and career planning. The 2026 lecture programme includes “Matura – wie weiter?”, university presentations by Universität Basel, practice-oriented study after the Matura (FHNW), tourism studies, a decision-making workshop, and studying business administration in German at the University of Fribourg. The full programme is due from August 2026.
