Vocatium Magdeburg is a specialised career-orientation and education trade fair (Fachmesse für Ausbildung & Studium) in Germany, part of the nationwide vocatium series organised by the IfT Institut fuer Talententwicklung GmbH. The Magdeburg edition connects pupils, students and young professionals with training companies, universities, academies and advisory institutions, helping visitors decide which career, dual-study programme or traineeship fits them.

What's on the fair

• Exhibitor floor — training companies, universities, academies, gap-year providers and counselling institutions staff booths; the 2026 edition featured 97 participating exhibitors.
• One-to-one advice — visitors speak directly with exhibitors' advisers about Ausbildung, dual study or internships.
• Lecture programme — short talks give insights into professions, training paths and career opportunities.
• Decision-makers — visitors present themselves to key contacts from companies and higher-education providers.
• Voluntary service & abroad — information on Freiwilligendienst (voluntary service) and overseas stays.

Practical notes

Admission is free for visitors. The fair runs morning to early afternoon (08:30-14:45). It is aimed at school pupils exploring career options, not at the general public, and is held annually in Magdeburg, Saxony-Anhalt.
