Wyoming State Fair
The Wyoming State Fair is held August 11-15, 2026 at the Wyoming State Fairgrounds in Douglas, Wyoming. Wyoming State Fair 2026
The Wyoming State Fair returns to Douglas, Wyoming, August 11-15, 2026, for five days of family fun. First officially held in 1905, the fair celebrates agriculture, education, youth, and the western lifestyle, and has been a gathering point for generations of Wyoming families.

Ford Grandstand Events
- Ranch Rodeo (Aug 11): Wyoming ranch cowboys and cowgirls compete on opening night, with a Calcutta pre-show at 6:30 PM and event time 7:00 PM. Admission $10, children under 12 free.
- WSF Breakaway Roping (Aug 12): A FREE night of fast-paced western competition in the Ford Grandstand Arena, starting 6:00 PM.
- PRCA Legacy Night Rodeo (Aug 13): World-class PRCA rodeo honoring the people and traditions that shaped the fair, with Mutton Bustin' pre-show at 6:00 PM and event at 7:00 PM.
- Future Friday PRCA Rodeo (Aug 14): Spotlighting the future of agriculture and rodeo, with the Miss Rodeo Wyoming pre-show at 6:30 PM and event at 7:00 PM. PRCA admission $20 a night or $30 for both nights.
Carnival
Carnival Midway Attractions brings rides and games for every thrill level, from the Skyfire to the Ferris Wheel. Carnival hours: Tuesday 5:00 PM-11:00 PM; Wednesday-Friday 2:00 PM-11:00 PM; Saturday 2:00 PM-midnight. Presale daily wristbands ($30 + fee) are available online July 1-August 10, 2026; Megapass (all 5 days) $125 on presale only.
Exhibits & Activities
The fair offers livestock exhibits and 4-H/FFA youth competitions, educational programs such as Everyday Ag and Resources of Wyoming, a variety of FREE entertainment included with admission, vendors, and sponsor showcases. The Fair Family of the Day program gives selected families grandstand tickets, carnival wristbands, and general admission for a day.
